Seattle Lefty Erik Bedard will miss his next scheduled start against the A’s on Wednesday with a sore throwing shoulder. Bedard has been sidelined this season with back and hip injuries as well. Manager Jim Riggleman mentioned over the weekend that Bedard has been toughing it out of late. He also said that the nagging injuries have been the reason for his pitch count be monitored so closely. Bedard has not been talking to the media. Miguel Batista is tentatively is scheduled to start in his place
