The Seattle Mariners have released former closer David Aardsma after Aardsma declined to be outrighted and became a free agent. The Mariners also removed center fielder Franklin Gutierrez and catcher Adam Moore from the 60-day disabled list on Monday. Right-handed reliever Jeff Gray was also claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Twins.
